Versova koli food festival

Image
I thought I would pass it on for the filmfare awards running on the tv that night. But since I watch too much tv in each case and I wanted to do something else on Sunday night I thought it would go. I never thought that it would be of such gargantuan proportions, the festival. Lakhs and lakhs of people thronging there digging into the awesome cuisine. Beautiful koli women bedecked in their best finery. And of course the food what to die for quite literally. In all these years that I was here, I wonder why I didn't do it earlier. Anyway, next time.

Shame on you MOM

Its embarassing to read that the mother pr grandmother of the rapist is not only deending her child but trying to forge documents to fool the cops into believing that he is younger. So he may escape the law if she succeeds. But how will he escape the poetic justice he will certainly face some time in the future? Has this mother done the right thing by protecting her child? Doesn't she realise that by doing so, she has failed as a parent? She is equally guilty because by protecting his wrong, she has created a monster. Chikdren are a product of their culture. So what u sow is what u will get. Be a monster and breed a monster. Such parents should be taken to task equally.

Kudos to these young girls...

In this one scene, the national anthem played and as has been driven to us since our childhood, I stood up in respect. Of course it was a bit awkward since no one else stood up. I muttered under my breath about how rude these people were to not respect their national anthem and so on and so forth. I was very restless when I came home and so I googled about it on the internet...whether there were any rul...
